DNIPROPETROVSK WATER AND WASTE WATER PROJECT On 9 June 2005, Municipal Communal Production Enterprise “Dniprovodocanal” has signed a loan agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) and intends using the proceeds of the loan to improve sustainability and level of water and waste water services in the City of Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine. The Project, which has a total estimated cost of about EUR 30 million, will require the procurement of the goods, works and services under the following remained contracts: 1. Block Meters; 2. Pumping Stations; 3. Water Works; 4. Waste Water Treatment (Central WWTP); 5. Rehabilitation of Water Pipes; 6. SCADA and MIS – Design, supply and installation of automated operative dispatch control system at the facilities of the MCPE “Dniprovodocanal”; 7. SCADA and MIS – Design, supply and installation of automated metering system for electrical power fiscal accounting (AMSEPFA) at the facilities of the MCPE “Dniprovodocanal” (TENDER ONGOING) The tendering for the above contracts (with the exception of Contract 7) is expected to begin in the 3rd – 4th quarters of 2011. Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of the loan from the Bank will be subject to the Bank’s Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the Bank’s loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons, or entities or for any import of goods if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter Vll of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser’s country.
