The Ukraine Partnership Bureau joined the Commission "on ecological investment, alternative and renewable energy sources".
The Ukraine Partnership Bureau joined the Commission "on ecological investment, alternative and renewable energy sources" under the jurisdiction of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Major field of the Commission's competence is facilitation of the Government of Ukraine activities in starting the new low-carbon economy which uses accessible mechanisms to attract investments, initiates change the legal field and introduces the new technologies and concepts. Along with this, the Commission facilitates developments of different ways of the state support to the business circles in the sphere of climate changes prevention.

Ukraine has signed Kyoto Protocol.
According the Articles of Kyoto Protocol Ukraine, as well as other countries, incured obligations to reduce the green gas emission.
