Global Green Business Partnership 2011
The Forum is attend by different representatives of state and business societies of the Republic of Korea and North-East Asia, leading international specialists in the spheres of green technologies and investments, investment companies and other interested parties from all parts of the world.

The significance of this event cannot be overestimated, because it is one of the few events that dedicated to the development of Ukrainian-Korean relations and partnership development in the area of climate change.
During the forum, Oleg Gramotenko presents the potential of Zhytomyr region, about the development of renewable energy sources (biomass and waste), environmental, infrastructure and energy efficiency, along with the possibility of the joint development and investment into above mentioned spheres.
The main presentation’s goal is not only attracting the investors attention to Ukraine, Zhytomyr region, but above all, to present Ukraine’s potential as a whole, and provide an opportunity to establish business contacts between the Northeast world and the Ukrainian business.
The business part of the gathering consists of several blocks of issues devoted to Korean-Ukrainian cooperation, innovative technologies, partnership in the environment protection, perspective projects in energetic and building branches and also joint development of the Zhytomyr region potential.
In particular, were considered in detail and discussed the projects on environment and climate change, as well as opportunities for joint funding of such projects.
In the light of global trends of energy saving, in connection with price rising for energy source, the theme of new technologies and concepts for efficient usage of resources that enable economically usage of energy and to optimize costs, is becoming increasingly important.
Therefore, one of most vivid discussions arose after the speech of the Environment Protection Minister of the Republic of Korea – Yoo, Young Sook, that was devoted to the experience of Korea and global tendencies of green technologies in all the spheres of Korean business, from building to external policy.
Among the key themes discussing during the conference, you can highlight the issue of partnership on climate change in Ukraine and South Korea. Ukrainian potential, opportunities and resources cause an increased interest not only in Korea but also worldwide. It is known that the Ukrainian law has certain limitations. However, there are enough opportunities and legal mechanisms to ensure investment in this sector of Ukrainian economy. And those investors, who will take advantage of these opportunities, could give a higher rate of investment profitability.
The main achievement that we allocate during the forum is the agreement about the new program start of the Korean-Ukrainian relations, with the emphasis on the usage of innovative concepts and approaches, involving the Korean governmental venture funds and investment funds.
