Ukrainian singer Ruslana awarded at Asia Song Festival

At the largest Asia Song Festival Ukrainian Ruslana Lyzhychko got a gold statuette as the best performer and a special prize of the Korean Culture, Sports and Tourism Ministry for a contribution into cultural exchange with Asia through pop-music.

As the singer's press service informed, winner of the Eurovision 2004 Ruslana Lyzhychko was invited to the festival held September 19 in Seoul (Korea) as the only singer from a non-Asian country. Participating in the festival were singers from 14 Asian countries.

By the end of the Sixth Asian Song Festival, Ruslana got an invitation to participate in the Seventh Asiavision 2010.
